Glass Bead Game
Glass Bead Game as described in Herman Hesse's Magister Ludi consists of players essentially playing ideas off each other through symbols (the beads). The beads are a language system representing different aspects of world culture; each bead is a fractal point of information against which (or in collaboration with) another bead (fractal information point) is played. The game develops towards a conclusion based on the moves, ideas and the relation of the ideas to each other. Ideally the conclusion reached would be something new, or something unknown, or a revelation or epiphany.
